Uniform November is an independent consultancy led by Frazer Macdonald Hay. Through interviews, research, writing and strategic reflection, we help organisations explore the relationships between people, place, memory and change. About Frazer Macdonald Hay:

Frazer Hay is a consultant, researcher and writer whose work explores the relationships between people, place, memory and change.

His career has followed an unusual path through public service, architecture, education, cultural heritage and peacebuilding. From the Royal Air Force and Fire Service to the architectural team behind the new Scottish Parliament, from founding the Glasgow School of Art Singapore to supporting recovery and resilience initiatives in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine and Indonesia, his work has consistently focused on how people adapt to challenge and shape the places they inhabit.

Today, through Uniform November, he works with organisations, communities and institutions seeking to better understand and communicate their stories, values and impact. His clients and partners have included UNESCO, ICCROM, the British Council, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), UN-Habitat and The HALO Trust. Frazer currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Scottish Peacebuilding Platform and is the author of the forthcoming manuscript What Buildings Know: Adaptive Reuse in an Age of Conflict, Climate and Conservation.
