Seven Types of Courage

Today, I was sent 'The Six Types of Courage' by a colleague. Their email made me think of the idea of courage and all the courageous people I have had the privilege to meet over the years. Indeed, my life has been punctuated by intensely courageous people and yet I would suggest that there is one ( no doubt more ) missing. The courage to be creative is an underestimated courage to aspire to. I feel that we all need to strive for creative courage in our attempts to solve the problems we face individually, socially, economically, environmentally and as a species.

Humanity has experienced an extraordinary burst of evolutionary change, driven by good old fashion Darwinian natural selection. But it is the selection among ideas, not among genes that matter right now :)
