Can our People at Risk, Save our Buildings at Risk?

Why build new meaningless structures to house the local Precariat ?

The Buildings at Risk Register has been in operation in Scotland since 1990 in response to a concern at the growing number of listed buildings and buildings in 'Conservation Areas' that were vacant and had fallen into a state of disrepair..........Perhaps these structures can be re-used and conserved whilst providing important facilities for the communities at risk of disillusionment and social exclusion. The Register is maintained by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) on behalf of Historic Scotland, and provides information on properties of architectural or historic merit throughout the country that are considered to be at risk
